Description:

Large lot of original vintage chart recorder components from what appears to be an official meteorological installation in Norway.

This is a high-quality mechanical system, likely German/European manufacture, built to a very high standard for continuous measurement (temperature, pressure, humidity, etc.).

Included in the lot:
2 large clockwork-driven drum units (24h rotation)
3 smaller drum units
Multiple brass chart drums / cylinders
Bag of original brass components / mounts / hardware



Condition & functionality:

The two main clockwork units are especially interesting:
Both wind up very smoothly
You can clearly feel the fine, precise internal mechanism when winding
The movement feels tight, clean, and well-preserved
I have only wound them slightly (about half a turn), but both behave identically

Based on feel and mechanical response, my honest assessment is that they are in working condition

These were clearly built to a very high standard you can feel the quality immediately when handling them.
